We have a long tradition in Ware and District of giving our fellow Scouts nickmanes. Some of the District leaders have them - such as Victor, Nincombpoop, and the Mackeral.
New Explorer Scout nicknames earned so far include:

Jo - Minnie Minx
Martin - Bossom
Thomas - Animal
Christopher H - Tape Worm
Christopher J - Bam Bam

Thomas is indeed Thomas S. He has earned his nickname as he bears more than a pssing resemblance to the drummer in the Muppetts.
